شرودي والذهان له حساب

بمقطوع الصلاة علي ربي

وكم تحلو من الدنيا فطام

وقصدي شده لله حسبي

وما ترجو من الدنيا لحال

إذا بعد الغروب كسبت قربي

شعار للمروءتي أن قصدا

غدا عندي يلومه بغربي

هلال البين حيرني زمان

ولي بعد الزمان بالله اصبي

قطعت من القصيد لو منال

من الدنيا تروح لدي كربي

كما ساقت مطابع لي سوار

فلا بعد القصيدة صار ظربي

وشف الليل للأخرى قطرات

وإشهار الأنام له بزربي

طلعت من البقية ضامرات

وكم من لفتت لله تسبي

طرحت الخد لو نطقت ببيض

كأن الحور سواد الليل محبي

بما شاهت وللاسحار صوت

وما لاحت له مر بحربي

قصدت له وللرحمن باب

لمشاهدة الحياة مد بكسبي
