اليوم قدمي بليل ـ لسان المعاني

سجرت عيني بمعطوف الزوال
وحر قره شبعي بخالي
وقظت رابعات من ذهال
جواري عمها ريح الحلال
سدا قيدي يشح له عقاب
بباصمتي روت من مزن خالي 
ولم تر لي بعاشية مقالا
وموت من تعز مد الغلال
ولم تخضرّ من سد منيف
جرى قسما وتربو كالجِمالِ
فليت الليل قسمني بجورٍ
فقاد الشَّات من نَذرِ القلالِ
فيبقيني علی سني زمانࣱ
بخالصة السكوت علی الكمالِ
وتقرح باديات من شرارٍ
تعتم مامضی وقت الزوالِ
ولي ربࣱ بما افضت سنينࣱ
وما ذنبي الزواج بخلقِ تالِ
وما كان ربا عمري بقصدٍ
فأخرني الزمان به امتثالي
وفرّحني سنينُ العمر شبهً
بمر الراحلات علی اقتبالي
كأن الليل حرقته بسودٍ
لثام الصبح كبلني بمالي
واعدمني من التركيز حقࣱ
وما لليل حقࣱ في انشغالي
ولا فتئت لي الايام وجهً
اری بعد الغروبِ به قبالي
واسأل للجدار له دبيبࣱ
فأسمع للمشات بهم ظلالِ
ويخلدني علی شرتٍ بصوت
جری خلف الجداري له منالي
